| 作品解説 | 自然界の空間に存在する気流によって動く、キネティックアート作品です。 宇部に吹く風を受け、樹木や水面はその力を借りる事により、時には小さく、また時には大きく揺らいでいます。 その動きに同じ姿は無く、いつまでも眺めている事が出来ます。 この作品もそれぞれのステンレスパイプが風を受け、時には小さく揺れたり、また時には大きく360°回ったりし、様々な姿を優雅に観せてくれます。 「自然の力」に委ねて自由気ままに舞う姿に、作品が持ち得るエネルギーを感じ取っていただけたら幸いです。 This is a kinetic artwork that moves by means of air currents present in the natural environment. The wind that blows across Ube sets trees and water surfaces in motion, sometimes swaying gently, and at other times more strongly. No movement is ever the same, and one can continue watching indefinitely. In this work as well, each stainless-steel pipe catches the wind—at times swaying slightly, and at other times turning a full 360 degrees—gracefully presenting a variety of forms. I would be happy if viewers could sense the energy this work holds in the freely drifting figure it entrusts to the forces of nature. |
