| 作品解説 | 彫刻を始めたころから、植物の種子に興味を持っています。 形のデザイン的美しさもそうですが、次の時代に命をつなぐタイムカプセルのようなしくみに特に心惹かれます。長い時を経て脈々と受け継がれている生命の力強さを想いながら、今回の作品を作りました。 Around the time I began sculpture, I was interested in plant seeds. Their shapes are beautiful, but I was most captivated by the idea of seeds as time capsules with a link to the next generation. I made this piece thinking of the strong life force that is handed down over long periods of time. |
