| 作品解説 | ハニー・スプーンと名付けた此の彫刻は、ある意味で瞬間的な知覚である美学との遊びである。其れは露出され価値ある光が変化するものに依存している。 「一の絃（いと）」の張りは直感的に同調された旋律へ導かせ、其の絃長は即に計測され、定義された満足いく或る点か、転換点が示され鋼線の彫刻へと脱皮していく。響きは明快な音ではない。精密に絃長から鋼線への変身ではない。むしろ、変形しているか、すでに内包され約束されたものか、三次元的な立体への瞬間かが鋼線の中にある。この作品は音との経験と音楽の手法を元に創造されている。 The sculpture Honey Spoon partly plays with synaethetic moments of perception, which, depending on exposure and quality of light, become subject to a change. With the aid of a monochord (an acoustic body strung with a single string, similar to the Japanese Koto), Anklam intuitively derives lengths of self-tuned chords, and is then able to translate the measurements and relationships of string-lenghts into defined pressure points or breaking points then reproduced in the wire sculpture. The sound is not a clean tone. It is not translated one to one in form and space. Instead, it is deformed, or respectively reversed, due to a second three-dimensional body which lies within the steel frame. Axel Anklam's sculptural work proceeds are sound experiments and music theories. This examination manifests itself in dynamic-aeronautic configurations that ignite a vibrating movement in space, asserting itself like a permanently ringing sound. |
