| 作品解説 | １出品作品コンセプト クランクペダルを漕ぎ、推力タービンがゆっくりと力強く回転する。 重い石舟が海面を走り、やがて空中へと漕ぎい出る光景を想像する。 人力でペダルを漕ぎ重力を振り切って推進する試み、その憧れや想いへの形象化。 その場所に置かれることで石舟は、周囲までも海や空へとイメージを広げ、異空間への”想い”をいだかせる存在、造形物であれば。 When you turn the crank pedal, the thrust turbine spins slowly but powerfully. I imagine the strange sight of the heavy stone boat gliding over the surface of the sea, and soon paddling into the air. Spin the pedals using human power, break free from gravity, try to move forward, give shape to that hope and yearning. I hope that wherever this stone boat is set down, it causes the image of the sea and sky to seep into the surroundings, and exists as an object which evokes thoughts of another place. ２鑑賞する子供たちへのコメント 大きな石舟は、力強くペダルを踏むとゆっくりと推力タービンが回転して前に進む そう、目をつむって君も漕いでみよう、大海原が出迎える。 素朴な人力による推進物体で重力から自由になりたい！ 試みとする想い！で水の上を走る、飛びたいと願う。 If you turn the pedal of this big stone boat powerfully, the thrust turbine spins slowly and moves forward That's it, close your eyes and pedal, the ocean awaits. Using this simple man-powered propulsion vehicle I want to break free of gravity! I want to try! I want to glide over the water and fly. |
