| 作品解説 | 自分の背丈よりも大きな彫刻作品を目の当たりにすると圧倒されることがあります。そして作品に近づいて見て細部の構成にも圧倒されることがあります。大きな形（全体）は、小さな形（細部）を包括している。それは細部が全体を造っているということです。 Concept When we see a piece of sculpture taller than we are we feel overwhelmed. When we get closer and see the detailed construction of the piece we are overwhelmed by that too. The large form (the whole) includes small forms (detail). The detail makes the whole. This work depicts a reversal of form (convex becomes concave and the entrance is an exit) to express movement, using stainless steel sheet. |
