| 作品解説 | 【作者コメント】今回私たちは、石に内在する自然の力に対して、二つの異なる手段で関わろうとした。彫刻家は石に宿るモノを確かめようと石を割り、それぞれの内部に形を与えた。画家もまた絵筆を持って、その石の上に表現を試みた。「地霊」は「R: Ｗ: B: JM: M」の五つの石から成り立っている。それぞれの場と・石と・中に宿った何かを見付けながら、一つ一つ巡って行くと、豊穣なる地霊の総体が見え始めるのではないかと思っている。 [Creator’s Comment] For this work, we attempted to engage with the natural force inherent in stone through two different means. The sculptor broke the stone to see the “thing” within it and gave shapes to each of them. The painter held brush and tried to express it on the stone. “Genius” consists of five stones, “R”, “W”, “B”, “JM”, and “M”. By visiting each of the five places and stones and discovering the “thing” within, we believe that the whole picture of the fertile Genius will emerge. - - - - 五点セットになっていて、ミュージアムからしょうぶ苑の間に点々と置かれている。くりぬかれた石の中に絵が描かれており、昔からあるほこらのような印象だ。五つの彫刻は米・麦・あわ・ひえ・豆を表す。そこに、日本の伝統的な価値観の再考という思いが込められている。 |
