| 作品解説 | パイプ・ラインに使うスティール・パイプ二本を、切り方を工夫し組み合わせてできあがっている。四本の支柱の上に、円筒形を切ったパイプをからませながらアーチ状にのせたものだ。1985年の受賞作「森」が大地に這った作品だったのにくらべ、この作品は人がその下をくぐれるようにアーチ式に構成してある。 The work consists of two pipeline steel pipes, deliberately cut and combined. Cut pipes are entwined to form an arch on top of four pillars. Compared to the landed and crawling “Forest”, the artist’s winning work in 1985, this work is raised in the shape of an arch, allowing viewers to walk under it. |
