Description南側より蓮生寺周辺を写した写真。写真中央部少し右上に京王堀之内駅が見える。さらにその上部の造成されている部分は、多摩ニュータウン第19住区。この後、「多摩ニュータウン東山」「堀之内東山」として宅地造成・分譲された。

本写真は昭和52年（1977）ID933と比較できる。（やや角度が異なり、本写真のほうがID933のやや左側から撮影している。）ID933に写っていた集落のあった谷戸（別所谷戸）の位置は、本写真では、中央部分に縦に伸びる道沿いの住宅地である。本写真手前に見える八王子市立別所小学校は、丘陵の丘の部分にあたる。同じく左側に見える松木中も丘の上が造成されて建設された。
DescriptionA photo of the area around Rensouji Temple from the south. Keio Horinouchi Station can be seen in the center of the photo, slightly to the upper right. The area above that area is the 19th residential area of ​​Tama New Town. After this, residential land was developed and sold as ``Tama New Town Higashiyama'' and ``Horinouchi Higashiyama''.

This photo can be compared with 1977 ID933. (The angle is slightly different, and this photo is taken from slightly to the left of ID933.) The location of Yato (Bessho Yato), where the village shown in ID933 was located, is a residential area along a road that runs vertically in the center of the photo. Hachioji City Bessho Elementary School, visible in the foreground of this photo, is part of the hill. Matsuki Junior High School, which can also be seen on the left, was also built on a hill.
