| Description | 昭和52年度に撮影された、蓮生寺周辺の航空斜写真です。手前側の谷戸は工事用道路の建設を除いて大きな開発は行われていませんが、多摩ニュータウン通りとなる写真上側では河川改修など工事が進められています。 ①に屋根が写るのが蓮生寺で、裏の山は現在の蓮生寺公園にあたります。蓮生寺は元々、天台宗の寺として創建され、天正年間（1573～92）に曹洞宗に改宗し、現在に至るそうです。 ②の場所には現在は八王子市立松木中学校(平成6年4 月開校)が出来ています。 |
| Description | This is an oblique aerial photograph of the area around Renshoji taken in 1978. There is no major development going on in the valley in the foreground except for the construction of a construction road, but construction work such as river improvement is underway on the upper side of the photo, which is Tama New Town Street. The roof in ① is Renshoji, and the mountain behind is the current Renshoji Park. Rensho-ji Temple was originally founded as a Tendai sect temple, but it was converted to the Soto sect in the Tensho era (1573-1592), and remains to this day. Location ② is currently Hachioji City Matsuki Junior High School (April 1994). The school opened in May) has been completed. |

Description：A photo of the area around Rensouji Temple from the south. Keio Horinouchi Station can be seen in the center of the photo, slightly to the upper right. The area above that area is the 19th residential area of Tama New Town. After this, residential land was developed and sold as ``Tama New Town Higashiyama'' and ``Horinouchi Higashiyama''. This photo can be compared with 1977 ID933. (The angle is slightly different, and this photo is taken from slightly to the left of ID933.) The location of Yato (Bessho Yato), where the village shown in ID933 was located, is a residential area along a road that runs vertically in the center of the photo. Hachioji City Bessho Elementary School, visible in the foreground of this photo, is part of the hill. Matsuki Junior High School, which can also be seen on the left, was also built on a hill.
