Comment | Long-necked bottle free-blown in yellow brown transparent glass. The outsplayed rim has been fire-polished. Decorated from the base of the neck to the bottom by winding twenty times with opaque white glass. A part of the mouth rim has been repaired. Conceivably a perfume bottle; the spiral ornamentation on the bottle may have been intended to prevent it from slipping out of the hand when used. |
