Comment | A mold-blown bottle in transparent deep blue glass with two handles, elongated body and short neck. The outsplayed mouth rim has been folded inward, handles applied. Few bubbles. The shape of the vessel emulates the large earthenware jars used to transport wine and olive oil. Similar examples made from glass have been excavated in large numbers in all areas of the Roman Empire and even on the coast of the Black Sea. |
