Comment | This is the clay sealing used in Sasanian period. Impression of a large stamp seal is depicting a horsing soldier wearing chain mail. The horse is also armored. The equestrian culture came into Western Asia from Central Asia around three thousand years ago. The similarity of harness between Western Asia and Eastern Asia shows the cultural interventions by horse-riding nomads of Central Asia. |
