| Comment | This battle axe with four projections on the socket for a shaft is typical in Luristan, western Iran. It seems that this axe was made as a funerary object because its cutting edge was not sharpened. The remains of wood in the socket suggest that the axe was attached to a shaft when it was buried in a tomb. |
