| Comment | Made during the Ilkhanid period when the Orient was under the power of Mongolia, this bowl has clear glaze over the patterns drawn with white slip and outlined in black. Drawn inside the bowl are four phoenixes along with small leaves and flowers filling the blank. The Orient established a strong connection with East Asia during the Ilkhanid period, and various culture and design influences were brought in from China. |
