Comment | In Islamic culture, drawing and making sculpture of the god, and worshipping them are strictly forbidden. Drawing animal is also taboo. These acts are believed as competing act against the Creator God. However, in the case away from religious situation, animals and human figures are frequently depicted on domestic utensils. The expression is humorous and lively. A text in Islamic period described that hare was best for soup stock. The plate with hare might have been related to a nice dish. |
