| Comment | Cheetah was domesticated and accompanied to hunting in ancient Egypt, Assyria, and Islamic period. It is not known widely that cheetah is easily tamed. A painting drawn in Islamic period shows a hunter and cheetah getting on the back of a horse. However, cheetah could not overcome the position of dog as hunting partner, because breeding cheetah is difficult. |
