Rhyton with Zoomorphic Handles

CommentIt is the rhyton that is characteristic for Parthian period. One side of the spherical body is painted with the pattern such as the tree of cedar, and the other side is decorated in a lattice and triangle patterns. Two handles are designed in a shape of a goat and the horse each. The harness such as the reins and the saddlecloth is drawn on the horse faithfully. Projections on the bottom are the spout for liquid outflow.
