| Concept | 夜、ふと月を見上げて、何かを思い浮かべる。そんな経験を一度もせずに人生を終える人は、きっと少ないのではないでしょうか。月は昔から、人の想像力をかき立て、さまざまな物語を生んできました。本作は、月に棲むとされるウサギと宇宙船をモチーフに、月へ向かって飛び立つウサギ型ロケットの造形です。その姿からどんな物語を思い描くかは、見る人それぞれに委ねています。この造形が、日常の中で人々の心をそっと月へ運ぶきっかけになればと思っています。 At night, you suddenly look up at the moon and something comes to mind - there are probably few people who go through life without ever having that experience. Since ancient times, the moon has stirred human imagination and given rise to countless stories. This work has the form of the rabbit said to live on the moon and a spacecraft, forming a rabbit-shaped rocket launching toward the moon. What kind of story its figure suggests is left to each viewer. I hope this sculpture can become a small trigger that gently carries people’s hearts to the moon in the midst of everyday life. |
