| Concept | 昨今、太陽の過酷さや風の猛威を伝える報道が増えている。これも地球温暖化の影響らしい・・・ そんな時だからこそ、陽の温もりや風の心地よさを想起させるようなものが作れたらと思う。 作品のモチーフは陽だまりで仲良く風に揺れる草穂たち。 草穂が陽を受けてキラキラと風に揺れる様は、風のささやきに草穂たちが楽し気に微笑む姿をイメージしている。 鑑賞者のみなさんへ この作品は256本の「草の穂を模したピース」で風を表現しています。幾つかの穂には風や太陽をテーマにして常盤公園の動植物を描いています。また、はめ込まれたガラス玉の中にもそれらのシルエットが入っています。探してみて下さい。 Recent news coverages are increasingly about the harsh sun and raging winds. They seem to be part of the result of global warming… I hope I can create something that reminds us of the sunny warmth and breezy comfort. The motif of the work is a patch of tufted grass cheerfully dancing in the wind in a sunny spot. The weeds sparkle and dance in the wind in the sunshine as if they are smiling in delight at the whispering wind. To Audience This work comprises 256 “pieces in the shape of tufted grass.” Several tufts feature flora and fauna of Tokiwa Park under the theme of wind and sun. Look for the silhouettes of these motifs in the glass balls embedded in the work. |
