| Concept | 【作者コメント】私はこの作品で、人間の本質についての考察を促す鉄の柱を提示した。矛盾するようだが、冷たい金属は人間性について語る理想的な材料である。人間は、自らと宇宙とを、みかけ上では均衡する二種類の自然だと考えてきた。これらの柱は人間の本質、つまり私たちの行動すべてを規定する制御不可能な不変性、について考えるように誘う。多くの要素が宿る身体であり、枠組みであり、骨髄であり、理性と非理性が往来する存在である。 The work presents a group of iron columns that invites us to reflect on the nature of the human being. Perhaps it is a paradox but the coldest metal becomes the ideal material to talk about humanity. Human beings have seen themselves and the universe as two natures that work into an ostensible balance. The presentation of this group of columns invites you to think about the human essence, the uncontrollable constant that moves every one of our actions. These pillars are the body where these elements live, the frame that holds them, the marrow, the being on which the reason and the non-reason come and go. |
