| Concept | 【作者コメント】直立した人体、大地より発芽した生命体、構築された数々の遺跡に共通するエネルギーを感じる。そのエネルギーを、空間を構成する上で最も基本的な要素である重力に相対する力としてとらえた。それらの個々に内在する力を自己の中で再構築し、それを大地に根ざした「立脚するフォルム」として、原始からの素材である石を用いて表現した。 When I see a budding sprout, or a foal just about to stand I feel the "Energy of Life", just as I feel it in the presents of ancient remains handled by our ancestors. I responded to this Energy though the opposition of Gravity, by piling primitive materials, which take root in the ground. |
