| Concept | 物語としての具象性と形態としての抽象性が程よくかみ合ったモニュメントである。両手足をぐっと伸ばしてそり上がったアルミ合金製の人体部分には、中央に驚きの表情をしたマスクが浮彫りされ、全体は台座の石へと連なっていて、ある種の崇高な雰囲気をみせている。市内常盤通りの歩道に設置されバスを待つ人々の憩いの場ともなっている。 The monument hits a perfect balance between figurative and abstract as a sculpture depicting a story. In the middle of the aluminum alloy in the shape of a person with all limbs stretched out, a surprised face is embossed. The whole figure is connected to the stone plinth to create a sense of sublimity as a whole. The sculpture is installed along the sidewalk of Tokiwa Street, where people relax while waiting for the bus. |
