| Concept | 煙突のような彫刻で中に入ることができる。中から見えるのは、円形に切り取られた空だけだ。晴れならば空の青さを、雨ならば真っ直ぐに落ちてくる水滴を、雲が動けば時間の流れを感じるだろう。外側につけられた「空」の文字がだんだんと小さくなるのにも注目してほしい。 You can get inside the chimney-like sculpture. From within, only the sky cut out in a circle is visible. On a sunny day, the blue of the sky would impress you. On a rainy day, droplets would come down straight to your face. On a cloudy day, you would feel how time passes by. Note also how “ku (emptiness)”, a letter attached on the outer wall, grows smaller and smaller. |
