| 作品解説 | 野外彫刻に3つのタイプがあるとすると、モニュメント型、空間造形型、そしてオブジェ型に分けられる。この「耕す」はオブジェ型の典型で、それ自体で一つの世界（物語）を完結させている。石に支えられた十二本の真鍮の棒の先は、一方が土地を耕すクワとなっており、もう一方の先は植物の芽のかたちをとっている。いわゆる耕作と育成が一個の作品に象徴されているわけである。 Open-air sculptures can be divided into three categories – monument type, spatial formation type, and object type. “Plow” is a typical object-type sculpture, which represents a complete and closed world (story). Each tip of the twelve brass rods supported by a stone takes the shape of a hoe, while the tip of the other end takes the form of a sprout. In short, the artwork singularly represents both the acts of plowing and growing. |
