| 作品解説 | ツルツルの表面はろうで、ガサガサの表面は発砲スチロールでつくり、その形を鋳物に置きかえた。すでにある物を使って具体的なイメージをつくり出すのが作者の得意技。高温で溶け出すような個所とエネルギーが前に向かって出てくる個所の組み合わせで太陽を表現する。 The shiny surface was made of wax, and the rough surface was made of Styrofoam, which was replaced with cast metal. The artist is excelled at producing a solid image with readily available materials. The areas depicting the heat melting objects and the areas depicting the outburst of energy epitomize the Sun in combination. |
