Hand-Operated Water Pump (Yoyogi Keibōdan)
| Description | In Yokosuka in Kanagawa Prefecture, a hand-operated water pump purchased from Germany was broken down and analyzed, and in 1884, domestic production of these water pumps began. These pumps, called "German-style Pumps" or "Number 2 Pumps", spread throughout Japan. This pump was used by the 8th unit of the Yoyogi Keibōdan in 1940. |
