| 作品解説 | 壽亭宗百は北斎の宗理期における門人。江戸時代に用いられた漢字を覚えるための教科書「小野篁歌字尽」に因んだ大小である。貴人が手にする掛軸に、「小野のたか六ら哥字づ九四二」と、「歌字尽」にその覚え歌が書かれている「已己巳己」が書かれている。最後の「已已」の一部が「七」と「閏七」を兼ねており、寛政九年巳年の小の月（2、4、6、7、閏7、9月）を表している。已己巳己＝いこみき |
