    Description：Seiseki Sakuragaoka Station was originally called Sekido Station, and was renamed to its current name in 1937. The photo shows the station as it looked when it was just elevated in May of that year. It was taken from above Sakuragaoka 4-chome, and “Iroha-zaka” can be seen in the lower left.

    Description(JPN)：聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅はもともと、関戸駅といい、昭和12年(1937)に改称されて現在の駅名となりました。写真はこの年の5月に高架化されたばかりの駅の様子が写されています。 大栗橋上空からの様子です。現在は新大栗橋に役目を譲り、通る道路も"旧"鎌倉街道と呼ばれるようになりました。現在の鎌倉街道はまだ跡形もありません。

    Description(JPN)：昭和61年(1986)5月、桜ヶ丘上空から聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅前地区を撮影した航空斜写真です。 4年前（ID999）と比べると、中央下に写るさくら通りの歩道のカラー舗装が行われています。これは商業振興策の一環として、昭和57年から行われたものです。 また①には昭和59年3月にオープンした「ザ・スクエア」が写っています。②はこの年の3月28日にオープンしたばかりの「京王桜ヶ丘ショッピングセンター」、③に見える第一勧業銀行・西友・駐車場は現在はデパートのOPA、関戸公民館なども入るヴィータ・コミューネになっています。
    Description：This is an oblique aerial photograph of the Seiseki Sakuragaoka Station area taken from the sky above Sakuragaoka in May 1986. Compared to four years ago (ID999), the sidewalk of Sakura Street, pictured in the lower center, has been paved in color. This was carried out from 1981 as part of commercial promotion measures. ① also shows "The Square", which opened in March 1988. ② is the Keio Sakuragaoka Shopping Center, which just opened on March 28 of this year, and the Daiichi Kangyo Bank, Seiyu, and parking lot seen in ③ is now Vita Commune, which also houses the department store OPA and Sekido Community Center.

    Description(JPN)：下側左に見えるのが連光寺小学校。中央上部に聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅の商業ビルなどが見える。中央部分の樹木が見える場所が春日神社。その少し左下に見えるのが高西寺と墓地である。この付近も、宅地や施設の建設が進み、連光寺小上部に見える緑地や、ライオンズ聖蹟桜ヶ丘パシーナ左下に見える畑地などが、この後宅地・施設へと変わっている。
    Description：Renkoji Elementary School can be seen on the lower left. The commercial buildings of Seiseki Sakuragaoka Station can be seen in the upper center. The place where you can see the trees in the center is Kasuga Shrine. Kosaiji Temple and the cemetery can be seen slightly to the lower left. Construction of housing lots and facilities has progressed in this area as well, and the green area visible above Renkoji and the farmland visible to the lower left of Lions Seiseki Sakuragaoka Pashina have since been converted into housing lots and facilities.

    Description(JPN)：聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅周辺を南側から撮影した写真。 本写真は昭和60年（1985）撮影のID6573および平成24年（2012）撮影のID16129と比較することができます。 ID6573 には平成11年（1999）完成の「ヴィータ聖蹟桜ヶ丘」（OPA）はまだ見られず、駐車場が広がっています。京王百貨店聖蹟桜ヶ丘の右側に隣接するビルは、昭和63年（1988）に新宿から聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅に移転した京王電鉄本社ビルです。ID6573が撮られた昭和60年（1985）から本写真の平成24年（2012）までの27年間に多くの商業・企業ビルが川崎街道沿いに建設されたことが良くわかります。 2012年のID16129の段階では駅北側の再開発は進んでいませんが、本写真ではブリリアタワー聖蹟桜ヶ丘ブルーミングレジデンス、あいおいニッセイ同和損保 聖蹟桜ヶ丘センタービルが建設されています。この北側区域はかつては「アカシヤマ」と地元の人から呼ばれた場所で、洪水の際には生えていたアカシヤ（ニセアカシヤ）を使って木流という手法で護岸をおこなったといわれています。
    Description：A photo taken from the south side of the area around Seiseki Sakuragaoka Station. This photo can be compared with ID6573 taken in 1985 and ID16129 taken in 2012. "Vita Seiseki Sakuragaoka" (OPA), which was completed in 1999, is not yet visible at ID6573, and the parking lot is wide open. The building adjacent to the right side of Keio Department Store Seiseki Sakuragaoka is the Keio Electric Railway headquarters building, which was relocated from Shinjuku to Seiseki Sakuragaoka Station in 1988. It is clear that many commercial and corporate buildings were constructed along Kawasaki Kaido in the 27 years from 1985, when ID6573 was taken, to 2012, when this photo was taken. As of ID16129 in 2012, redevelopment on the north side of the station has not progressed, but in this photo, Brillia Tower Seiseki Sakuragaoka Blooming Residence and Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Seiseki Sakuragaoka Center Building are being constructed. This area on the north side was once called ``Akashiyama'' by the locals, and it is said that during floods, acacia trees (Locus acacia) that were growing were used to create a bank protection using a method known as wood flow.
