　愛宕配水塔周辺を切り抜いたもので、手前側の山は現在の豊ヶ丘北公園になります。

    Description(JPN)：昭和51年(1976)に青木葉天満宮の直上から撮影されたものになります。 　①は愛宕配水塔、②は東福寺と落合白山神社、③は北落合小学校（当時）です。 南側から撮影した。左上が多摩センター駅、上部に写るのが愛宕団地、谷戸の集落が接する道路は現・青木葉通りです。 この写真は進む多摩ニュータウン開発の様子と、開発前の谷戸でのくらしの姿が併存している写真です。谷戸の部分には人々の住居と畑といった集落が見られ、丘の上には新たに建設された団地群が並びます。 多摩ニュータウン開発区域は、従来より人々が暮らす集落が存在していたため、開発の際には住民たちから陳情なども出されました。最終的には丘の部分は「新住宅市街地開発法」、集落部分は「土地区画整理事業」という、2つの手法を併用して開発が進められました。それが現在の多彩な街並みにつながる要因のひとつにもなっています。 この写真は「土地の高低差」「暮らし方」「建物の高さの対比」など、航空斜め写真ならではの情報豊富な写真といえます。
    Description：This photo was taken in 1976 from directly above Aokiba Tenmangu Shrine. ① is Atago Water Tower, ② is Tofuku-ji Temple and Ochiai Hakusan Shrine, and ③ is Kita-Ochiai Elementary School (at that time). Photographed from the south. Tama Center Station is on the upper left, Atago Danchi is on the top, and the road that connects the village of Yato is the current Aokiba Street. This photo shows the ongoing development of Tama New Town and the way people lived in Yato before the development. Villages such as people's residences and fields can be seen in the valley part, and newly constructed housing complexes are lined up on the hill. The Tama New Town development area has traditionally been home to inhabited villages, so residents submitted petitions when the area was developed. In the end, development proceeded using a combination of two methods: the ``New Housing and Urban Development Act'' for the hill area, and the ``Land Readjustment Project'' for the village area. This is one of the factors that leads to the current variety of cityscapes. This photo can be said to be rich in information that only oblique aerial photographs can provide, such as ``differences in land elevation,'' ``how people live,'' and ``comparison in building height.''

    Description(JPN)：昭和51年(1976)に青木葉天満宮の直上から撮影されたものになります。 　中央やや下側に写る白く平らな屋根の建物が東福寺です。現在は、瓦が乗った屋根になっています。東福寺の右側に写る赤い屋根の平屋の建物は、青木葉の集会場。 　東福寺の真上に映る赤い屋根の建物が、落合白山神社の拝殿で、その左上の斜面の上に映る赤い屋根が本殿になります。ニュータウン開発により、拝殿は斜面の上に移転しました。
    Description：This photo was taken in 1976 from directly above Aokiba Tenmangu Shrine. The white, flat-roofed building slightly below the center is Tofukuji Temple. Currently, the roof is covered with tiles. The one-story building with a red roof on the right side of Tofukuji Temple is the Aokiba meeting hall. The building with a red roof reflected directly above Tofukuji Temple is the worship hall of Ochiai Hakusan Shrine, and the red roof reflected on the slope in the upper left is the main shrine. Due to the development of the new town, the shrine was relocated to the top of the slope.

    Description：Photo taken from the south side. The Atago Water Tower can be seen in the center. The school on the left is Aiwa Elementary School, which opened in 2014. It was originally Higashi Atago Elementary School, but when Higashi Atago Elementary School closed, Aiwa Elementary School opened, and in 2016 it was merged with Nishi Atago Elementary School. This photo can be compared with ID6497 taken in 1983. The existing villages of Wada, Ochikawa, and Toji that can be seen behind the Atago Water Tower still have many fields, but in this photo most of them have been converted into residential areas. On the right is Sakuragaoka Residence.

    Description：The school at the bottom in the foreground is Higashi Atago Junior High School. Wada Junior High School is in the center of the photo. Below that, beyond the residential area, is Takazo-in Temple. The school you can see on the upper right of Higashi-Atago Junior High School is Higashi-Atago Elementary School, but later, due to school consolidation, Higashi-Atago Elementary School was closed and the same school building became Aiwa Elementary School.

    Description：Photo taken from the south side. The Atago Water Tower can be seen in the center. This photo can be compared with ID6497 taken in 1983 and ID16126 taken in 2012.
