Description　写真は多摩センター駅の開設直後に撮影されたものと思われます。
　駅前には、仮設のバスターミナルがあるのみで、写真には京王と神奈川中央交通の2社のバス計3台が写っています。
　
　トンネル工事中の山王下の立体交差部分。現在はここに多摩都市モノレールが通ります。
DescriptionThe photo is believed to have been taken immediately after the opening of Tama Center Station.
There is only a temporary bus terminal in front of the station, and the photo shows a total of three buses from two companies: Keio and Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu.

An elevated intersection under Sannoshita during tunnel construction. Currently, the Tama Urban Monorail passes here.

    Description(JPN)：現在の多摩中央公園上空から撮影されたものです。この写真の翌年には「丘の上プラザ」が出来るなど、駅前地区がオープンしました。 　駅の裏手に見えている鉄塔は三本松の鉄塔。高架下を通る道路を挟んで左側が松が谷団地、右側が鹿島団地です。左上には中央大学、その下側には松が谷の配水塔が写っています。
    Description：This photo was taken from above what is now Tama Central Park. The year after this photo was taken, the station area opened, including the ``Okanoue Plaza.'' The steel tower visible behind the station is the Sanbonmatsu steel tower. The Matsugaya Danchi is on the left and the Kashima Danchi is on the right across the road that passes under the elevated bridge. Chuo University is in the upper left corner, and the Matsugaya water tower is below it.

    Description(JPN)：　写真は多摩センター駅の開設直後に撮影されたものと思われます。 　駅前には、仮設のバスターミナルがあるのみで、写真には京王と神奈川中央交通の2社のバス計3台が写っています。 　バスターミナル付近を切り抜いたもので、駅のホームの蛍光灯が点いていること、現在とは異なり、駅の出口からバスターミナルが直結されているため、バスターミナルは現在よりも高い場所に作られていたことがわかります。
    Description：The photo is believed to have been taken immediately after the opening of Tama Center Station. There is only a temporary bus terminal in front of the station, and the photo shows a total of three buses from two companies: Keio and Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu. This is a cutout of the vicinity of the bus terminal, and you can see that the fluorescent lights on the station platform are on, and that unlike today, the bus terminal was directly connected to the station exit, indicating that the bus terminal was built higher than it is now.

    Description(JPN)：駅前地区がオープンする前の多摩センター駅周辺の様子です。遠景に見えているのは落合3丁目の団地。駅前に停車するバスは、落合団地・豊ヶ丘団地へ行くものです。 　①は現在の多摩中央公園、②はパルテノン多摩、③はワーナー・マイカル・シネマズ多摩センターの駐車場となっています。
    Description：This is the area around Tama Center Station before the station area opened. What you can see in the distance is the Ochiai 3-chome housing complex. The bus that stops in front of the station goes to Ochiai Danchi and Toyogaoka Danchi. ① is the current Tama Central Park, ② is the Parthenon Tama, and ③ is the parking lot of Warner Mycal Cinemas Tama Center.
