Description出征軍人と見送りの人々の写真。昭和13年（1938）6月16日午前8時に関戸の村社・熊野神社を出発した出征軍人が、関戸駅（聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅）で見送られる様子。出征にあたっては、多摩村国防協会から出発日時が通知され、小学生も含めた多数の見送りと、当日の各戸国旗掲揚などが要請された。
「関戸駅」は現在の「聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅」のこと。関戸駅が聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅に改称されるのは昭和12年（1937）5月1日のことであり、写真撮影時にはすでに「聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅」の呼称があったと思われるが、アルバムには「関戸駅」と書かれている。
DescriptionThis photo shows soldiers leaving for war and the people seeing them off. The soldiers departed Kumano Shrine, the village shrine of Sekido, at 8 a.m. on June 16, 1938, and were seen off at Sekido Station (Seiseki-Sakuragaoka Station). When the soldiers were leaving for war, the Tama Village National Defense Association notified them of their departure date and time, and requested that many people, including elementary school students, see them off and that each household raise the national flag on the day.
"Sekido Station" refers to the current "Seiseki-Sakuragaoka Station." Sekido Station was renamed Seiseki-Sakuragaoka Station on May 1, 1937, and it is believed that the station was already called "Seiseki-Sakuragaoka Station" at the time the photo was taken, but the album lists it as "Sekido Station."

    Description(JPN)：昭和13年（1938）6月16日、関戸の熊野神社から関戸駅（聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅）に向かう出征軍人と、見送る小学生たち。写真中央部に挨拶している人が写っており、これが「田宮先生」か。（ただし、田宮先生はアルバムの隣り合った写真に写っている人物である可能性もあり。）
    Description：On June 16, 1938, elementary school students saw off soldiers heading from Kumano Shrine in Sekido to Sekido Station (Seiseki-Sakuragaoka Station). There is a person in the center of the photo greeting them, and this may be "Mr. Tamiya." (However, it is possible that Mr. Tamiya is the person in the adjacent photo in the album.)

    Description(JPN)：昭和13年（1938）6月16日の朝、関戸駅（聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅）にて撮影された写真。アルバムに記載された右側の文字は、上部にある写真（見送りの小学生：ID:17222）の説明と思われるが、「田宮先生」が本写真の人物を指す可能性もあるので、念のため文字ごと収録した。
    Description：This photo was taken at Sekido Station (Seiseki-Sakuragaoka Station) on the morning of June 16, 1938. The text on the right side of the album is thought to be an explanation of the photo at the top (elementary school students seeing students off: ID: 17222), but since it is possible that "Mr. Tamiya" refers to the person in the photo, we have included the text just to be sure.
