Description南側から撮影した写真。中央部に見えるのが愛宕配水塔。

本写真は昭和58年（1983）撮影のID6497および平成24年（2012）撮影のID16126と比較できます。愛宕配水塔の背後に見える和田・落川・東寺方の既存集落はID6497ではまだ田畑が多く見えていましたが、ID16126や本写真ではその大半が住宅地に変わっています。右側は桜ヶ丘住宅。

左側に見える学校は2014年に開校した愛和小学校。もともと東愛宕小学校でしたが、東愛宕小学校が閉校して愛和小学校が開校し、2016年度に西愛宕小学校と統合しました。
DescriptionPhoto taken from the south side. The Atago Water Tower can be seen in the center.

This photo can be compared with ID6497 taken in 1983 and ID16126 taken in 2012. The existing villages of Wada, Ochikawa, and Toji that can be seen behind the Atago Water Tower still have many fields visible in ID6497, but in ID16126 and this photo, most of them have turned into residential areas. On the right is Sakuragaoka Residence.

The school on the left is Aiwa Elementary School, which opened in 2014. It was originally Higashi Atago Elementary School, but when Higashi Atago Elementary School closed, Aiwa Elementary School opened, and in 2016 it was merged with Nishi Atago Elementary School.
