| Description | 聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅はもともと、関戸駅といい、昭和12年(1937)に改称されて現在の駅名となりました。写真はこの年の5月に高架化されたばかりの駅の様子が写されています。 大栗橋上空からの様子です。現在は新大栗橋に役目を譲り、通る道路も"旧"鎌倉街道と呼ばれるようになりました。現在の鎌倉街道はまだ跡形もありません。 |
| Description | Seiseki Sakuragaoka Station was originally called Sekido Station, and was renamed to its current name in 1937. The photo shows the station as it looked when it was just elevated in May of that year. It was taken from above Sakuragaoka 4-chome, and “Iroha-zaka” can be seen in the lower left. |
