| Description | 東京競馬場の南東から西側を撮影した航空斜写真です。フィルムの収められているシートには昭和43年(1968)11月撮影とありますが、中央自動車道の調布・八王子間は昭和42年(1967)年12月に開通しているため、昭和42年の冬（1月-3月）頃の撮影かと思われます。 ①に見えているのは府中市是政の寶性院（真言宗）、②は建設中の中央自動車道で、中央道の右手に見える③は東京競馬場、左手に見える④はサントリーの工場になります。 ちょうど「中央フリーウェイ」（松任谷由美）に歌われた景色を空から見た形になります。 |
| Description | This is an oblique aerial photograph taken from the southeast to the west of Tokyo Racecourse. The sheet containing the film says that it was taken in November 1968, but since the Chofu-Hachioji section of the Chuo Expressway opened in December 1967, it is thought to have been taken around the winter of 1968 (January to March). What you can see in ① is Hoshoin (Shingon Buddhism) in Koremasa, Fuchu City, ② is the Chuo Expressway under construction, ③ on the right side of Chuo Expressway is the Tokyo Racecourse, and ④ on the left is the Suntory factory. It looks exactly like the scenery sung about in "Chuo Freeway" (Yumi Matsutoya) as seen from the sky. |
