| Description | This is what the bus terminal at Seiseki Sakuragaoka Station looked like around 1970. A banner is hung on the station building that reads, ``Congratulations Tama New Town District, Tama City Machida City Administrative Boundary Change December 1, 1960.'' This was an area change between Tama City and Machida City in order to match the Tama New Town area with the administrative area for the convenience of administrative services such as schools, and areas such as the current Minamino area of Tama City were incorporated into Tama City. |
