| 解説 | 作者は裸体を「人間にとって他の何よりも強き美しさを示すもの」を捉えました。だからこそ、「永く描き続けて興味の続くのも裸体である」と述べ、数多くの裸体を描きだしています。女性の姿を極端に単純化して量感を強調し、さらに黒く太く描いた輪郭線がその姿に存在感を与えています。それでいて、繊細でしなやかな、日本女性特有の美しさも見事に表現され、気品も感じさせています。 KOIDE treated the nude was “greater than any other beauty known to man.” It was for this reason that he produced so many of them, stating that he had drawn them for a great time and with great interest.
