| 解説 | 抜けるような青空のもと、画面右側には、果樹にはしごをかけて登っている人物がいます。その左側の明るい場所では、男女が二頭の馬をつないだ馬車の籠に収穫したりんごを積み込んでいます。まるで森のように深い木陰に包まれていますが、奥には農家らしい家屋も見えています。トロワイヨンはフランス北部セーヴルで磁器の絵付け職人の家に生まれ、後に動物画家として名をはせました。自然の中で働く人々に注ぐ温かな眼差しが感じられる作品です。 A figure on the right side of the frame climbs a fruit tree under a clear blue sky. In a bright area to the left, a man and woman load harvested apples into a cart carried by two horses. While the frame appears to be surrounded by dark shade from a forest, a small farmhouse is visible in the background. TROYON was born to the family of a porcelain painter in Sèvres, northern France, and later became known for paintings of animals. You can feel his warm gaze in his depictions of people working in nature. |
