| 解説 | 陶淵明の『桃花源記』に描写された桃源郷の姿を描いた作品です。ここに暮らす人々は、秦の戦乱を避けて隠れ住み、俗世間を遮断して生きているといいます。 六曲屏風の右左をつなげて一場面とし、中央に描かれた人里は、中景の湖、左右と遠景の山に抱かれ、世を隔てた平穏な隠れ里の様子が描かれています。画面右側には桃源郷に通じる洞穴があり、一艘の船が乗り捨てられているのが見えます。 TAO Yuan-Ming’s "The Peach Blossom Spring" is a fable depicts the discovery of Shangri-La, where people live in hiding, avoiding the wars of the Qin Dynasty and shunning the outside world. The right and left sides of the six folding screens in this work connect to form the scene, with a village in the center surrounded by a lake in the middle and mountains in the distance to the left and right. It depicts a peaceful hidden village, separated from the world. The cave on the right side of the frame leads into the village, and an abandoned boat is visible as well. |
