| 解説 | 第6回槐樹社展出品作。 牧野ら槐樹社の創立同人の一人、大久保作次郎宅で描かれました。 新興美術思潮であったフォービズムの影響を受け、色彩の強烈な対比や、精神性を込めた単純化した筆線による絵画を描いていた頃の作品。これらの平面的に塗られた色面や単純化した線状から、筆勢や筆法に意を込めた南画的表現に通じていく一端が見受けられます。 また、観葉植物や、高脚のインコの飼育ケージが置かれた様相などから、当時の流行の世相が確認できます。 Exhibited at the 6th Kaijusha Exhibition. This work was produced at the home of OKUBO Sakujiro, another founding member of the Kaijusha group. The work was influenced by Favuism, an emerging art school, using a strong contrast of colors and simple brush strokes with spirituality. These two-dimensional color planes and simplified linear shapes evoke a Nanga-like expression, with a focus on brushwork and brushstrokes. Cultural trends of the day are visible, such as the appearance of the plants and the breeding cages for parakeets. |
