NHK交響楽団「演奏記録アーカイブ」の公開にあたり
1926年（大正15年）に設立された新交響楽団に起源をもつNHK交響楽団（Ｎ響）は、東京での定期公演を活動の中心に、全国各地や海外での公演、放送やレコーディングなど、100年にわたって活動を行ってきました。その歴史は、日本クラシック音楽界の歩みと軌を一にしているといっても過言ではありません。
Ｎ響はその歴史の重要性に鑑み、周年事業などの折に公演日時、会場、出演者、曲目などの情報を収めた「演奏記録」を編さん・刊行しており、直近では2014年にホームページ上でそのPDFデータを公開しました（～2020年まで）。
一方でN響では創立100年に向けて2015年に「アーカイブ・プロジェクト」が開始され、公演プログラム、機関誌『フィルハーモニー』、チラシ、記録写真などの歴史的資料の目録化・電子化に着手。同時にこれらの資料を「演奏記録」に紐づける作業も行ってきました。
そして今回創立100年の佳節に際し、上記のプロジェクトの成果として「演奏記録アーカイブ」「資料アーカイブ」の一部を検索可能なデータベースとして一般公開する運びとなりました。
若き日に通ったＮ響コンサートの思い出をたどる道しるべとして、お気に入りのアーティストの出演歴を調べるため、現在ではあまり演奏されない過去の隠れた名曲を探すため、そして調査・研究のためなど、みなさまの目的に応じてこの２つのデータベースをご活用いただけると幸いです。

資料目録作成＆電子化／データベース構築：ナカシャクリエイテブ株式会社

「演奏会記録アーカイブ」「資料アーカイブ」は早稲田システム開発株式会社「I.B.MUSEUM SaaS」で運営されています。

「演奏記録アーカイブ」について
・「演奏記録アーカイブ」には「新交響楽団」（1926年10月～）、「日本交響楽団」（1941年4月～）、「NHK交響楽団」（1951年8月～）が開催・出演した演奏会の情報が収められています。
・「公演日」「演奏会名」「公演形態」「開催地」「会場」「指揮者」「ソリスト」「作曲者名」「曲目」などの項目で検索することができます。検索結果は「曲目」ごとに表示され、あわせてその公演に紐づけられた資料の情報も表示されます（一部の資料についてはサムネイル付き）。
・「アンコール曲」の情報についての調査は完了しておらず、その情報が収められているのはオーケストラが演奏した一部の楽曲となります。また放送収録やレコーディングでの演奏・出演についても調査は完了しておらず、一般に公開して行われたものについてのみ、その一部の情報が掲載されています。

「資料アーカイブ」について
・「資料アーカイブ」ではNHK交響楽団が所蔵する写真や資料などを目録化しています。オンラインで公開するのは、演奏会に関連する「パンフレット」「チケット」「機関誌」、そして「Ｎ響の歴史的トピックを収めた写真」の目録のみです。1951年以前の資料の一部についてはサムネイル画像を公開しています。

Regarding the release of the "NHKSO Performance History Search" and "NHKSO Catalog Search"
Originating from the New Symphony Orchestra founded in 1926, the NHK Symphony Orchestra (NHKSO) has been active for 100 years, with its core activities centered on subscription concerts in Tokyo, as well as performances across Japan and overseas, broadcasts, and recordings. It is no exaggeration to say that its history parallels the progress of Japan's classical music scene.

In recognition of the importance of its history, the NHKSO has compiled and published "Performance Records" on occasions such as anniversaries, containing information such as performance dates, venues, performers, and program titles. Most recently, in 2014, PDF data of these records was made available on its website (up to 2020).

In 2015, in preparation for its 100th anniversary, the NHKSO launched an "Archive Project," cataloging and digitizing historical materials such as performance programs, its journal "Philharmony," flyers, and archival photographs. At the same time, we have also been working to link these materials to its "Performance Records." Now, to mark the 100th anniversary of the NHKSO's founding, we have decided to open to the public, as a result of the above project, portions of our "Performance History Search" and " NHKSO Catalog Search" as searchable databases.

We hope you will use these two databases for various purposes, such as tracing the memories of your youthful NHK Symphony Orchestra concerts, researching the performance history of your favorite artists, discovering hidden masterpieces from the past that are rarely performed these days, or for research and study purposes.

About the " NHKSO Performance History Search "
- The "NHKSO Performance History Search" contains information on concerts held and performed by the New Symphony Orchestra (October 1926 -), the Nippon Philharmonic Orchestra (April 1941 -), and the NHK Symphony Orchestra (August 1951 -).
- You can search by categories such as "Performance Date," "Concert Name," "Concert Type," "Place," "Venue," "Conductor," "Soloist," "Composer," and "Title of Work." Search results are displayed by "Titel of Work," along with information on materials associated with that concert (some materials include thumbnails).

- Research into "encore" information has not yet been completed, and information on this is only available for a limited number of concerts. Research into performances and appearances in broadcast and recording sessions has also not been completed, and only partial information is available for performances open to the public.

About the " NHKSO Catalog Search "
- The "NHKSO Catalog Search" catalogs photographs and other materials held by the NHKSO. The only materials available online are concert-related pamphlets, tickets, and journals, as well as photographs featuring historical topics of the NHKSO. Thumbnail images are available for some materials before 1951.
