双口土器　【double opening pottery】

解説	縄文時代中期の火炎土器様式の時期(約5000年前)よりやや古い時代の土器。二つの大きな注ぎ口がある大変めずらしい形をしている。この土器が出土した山下遺跡は長岡市柿町にある遺跡で、火炎土器様式の始まりを明らかにする上で鍵になる遺跡。 Earthenware of a period somewhat older than the period of the firebombe style of the middle Jomon period (about 5000 years ago). It has a very rare shape with two large spouts. The Yamashita ruins that this pottery was excavated is an archaeological site in Kakimachi, Nagaoka city, a ruin which remains the key to clarify the beginning of the flame pottery style.
