| 作品解説 | 「俗っぽい喜劇」とも訳せるタイトルは、「聖なる喜劇」を意味するイタリア語La Divina Commediaを原題とするダンテの『神曲』を連想させます。男性2人と女性1人の組み合わせが、物語の中心人物であるダンテ、ヴェルギリウス、ベアトリーチェに符合することも合わせると、この作品は『神曲』の一種のパロディーなのかもしれません。 ダンテは地獄から煉獄（れんごく）を経て天国に至りましたが、どこかコミカルで品のない絵の中の3人組の先にもまた、上を向いた矢印が見えます。一行は「天」にたどりつくのでしょうか、それとも、鍵穴のような入口から、深い暗闇に迷い込むのでしょうか。 |
| Description | The title is reminiscent of Dante’s Divine Comedy, whose original title in Italian is La Divina Commedia. Considering that the combination of two men and one woman corresponds to the story’s central characters, Dante, Virgil, and Beatrice, this piece may be a sort of parody of the Divine Comedy. Dante travels from Hell to Purgatory and then to Heaven, but in this somewhat comical and vulgar image, an arrow pointing upward can be seen before the trio. Will the group reach “Heaven”, or will they find themselves lost in a deep darkness, seen through a keyhole-like entrance? |
