| 作品解説 | まさしく「数値のつりあい」を示す記号、「＝」がまず目に入ります。クレーはこの記号をきっかけに、視覚を通じてつりあいの感覚を呼び起こそうとしたのではないでしょうか。画面の中心で2本の線が交わり、この交点を囲むように線や記号が浮遊しています。基底色の赤と青の領域は、やはりこの点を中心に点対称状に配置されています。画面を埋め尽くす白い点状のタッチは、この均衡がゆるやかな動きの中で保たれている印象をもたらしています。その証拠に、ドイツ語の原題には「動力学的」を意味する形容詞が使われています。 |
| Description | The “=” symbol, which truly represents “numerical equilibrium”, is the first thing that catches your eye. It is likely that Klee used this symbol to evoke a sense of balance through viewing the piece. Two lines intersect at the center of the painting, with lines and symbols floating around the intersection. The areas of base colors red and blue have also been arranged in point symmetry around this intersection. White marks filling the painting give the impression that this balance is being maintained within a gentle movement. As evidence of this, the original German title uses an adjective meaning “dynamic”. |
