| Biography | Photographer. Born in Shibuya, Tokyo. In 2003, his first solo exhibition, “for circumpolar stars,” was held at epSITE Gallery. Starting in 2008, received many awards in Japan for his books and photo books. From 2016-19, held a series of large-scale exhibitions, “Capturing the Map of Light on This Planet.” Travels across the world, from the harshest, remotest places to chaotic metropolises, as he continues to take photos with a unique perspective, while also taking interest in anthropology and folklore studies. |
