| Explanation | Born in Vietnam's northern mountainous province of Lai Chau, the artist was raised being close to nature. In her work, tree leaves and clouds find their place within human bodies, and human bodies in return stand on earth being inseparable from nature. The work reflects the artist's philosophy on life--nature provides both happiness and sadness, but rather than indulging in pain, one's life can be enriched by living in harmony with nature and by borrowing its power to overcome difficulties. |
