| Explanation | Deang Buasan is a contemporary artist who was born in Mukdahan, Thailand. He captures the fleeting, delicate beauty of flowers, along with the beauty of women. He expresses the sorrow of loss and our yearnings for things that we have lost. The tree trunk that supports a woman who is peering into the water becomes one with a strong, muscular body and it is connected with the bottom of the water. The image gives the illusion of a world receding into boundless depth. |
