| Explanation | Suda Yoshihiro is a sculpture from Yanamahi, Japan. The artist creates a tiny wooden sculpture in the shape of a plant that is so sophisticated that it is hard to distinguish it from the real plant. According to the artist’s request, the work is displayed in a place that is hard to find so that the viewer enjoys the experience of accidentally finding a weed, which should not be grown in the museum, and take a close look to find out it is in fact a piece of art. Setting up this whole process, the artist raises the question towards the possible relationship among the artwork, exhibition space, and the viewer. |
