| Explanation | The artist came to Japan as a government sponsored oversea student from Bangladesh in 1975, and since then has been based in Tokyo. Sourcing the Bangladeshi natural environment and folk crafts, the artist continues to produce abstract pieces rich in lyrical and musical beauty. |
