Description of works【Southeast Asian celadon that went overseas】
The color of this dish, mimicking noble Chinese celadon, is much brighter and clearer than the original. The dish imparts a gentle atmosphere unique to Southeast Asia, with peony patterns in the center, surrounded by kokukamon (carved relief), together with a flower-petal-shaped rim. The Si Satchanalai Kilns in the 15th to 16th centuries CE exported many products mimicking the celadon of the Longquan Kilns in China.
