| Description of works | 【A portable rice cooker】 The Chinese character 鬲 (reki, Chinese: li) represents the shape of a pot with three bulging legs seen from the side. These legs have frill-like decorations which are modeled after bronzeware. During the time between the Neolithic period and ancient dynasties in China (2000 BCE - 221 BCE), reki were used on a daily basis for stewing and steaming grains. |
